Our mold design is performed mainly within the company, sometimes in collaboration with external specialist companies. Plax designs injection, mono-material, bi-material, bi-colour and overinjection molds for different applications in many product sectors.
Complementary activities to plastic mold design
The design of plastic molds also includes complementary activities, such as analysis. Plax Group performs feasibility analysis, Mold Flow analysis and DFM.
Each of these activities is performed in close collaboration with our customers with the aim of optimizing each individual mold, whether it is intended for the customer's production site or for the PLAX production departments.
The Plax design department also researches and develops innovative solutions for these activities, which can then be effectively applied to customer needs.
